Открыт прием заявок на участие в Летней школе Лаборатории институционального анализа экономических реформ ГУ-ВШЭ - 2011

The Laboratory for Institutional Analysis of Economic Reforms, Center for Institutional Studies, State University – Higher School of Economics (Moscow, Russia), announces the call for papers for annual Russian Summer School on Institutional Economics 2011 (RSSIA 2011). This year the main topic of RSSIA is NIE methodology in application to various research fields like banking, education, and bureaucracy. RSSIA will take place in the suburbs of Moscow on July, 5-11, 2011. The working language of the Summer School is English.

We welcome researchers, teaching staff, PhD and Master students. Priority in the selection will be given to research projects that are related to the following fields:

  • Economic analysis of bureaucracy
  • Economics of education
  • Economics of banking and financial markets
  • Industrial organization and regulation

RSSIA gives the opportunity to attend lectures of distinguished scholars, to present your own research and to receive the feedback from other participants and experts. This year the following experts and lecturers have agreed to participate in RSSIA: Garett Jones (George Mason University), Hannes Mueller (Institut d’Analisi Economica, Barcelona), John Nye (George Mason University), Russell W. Pittman(Antitrust Division, U.S. Department of Justice), Koen Schoors (Universiteit Gent).

The applications are to be submitted online at http://rssia.hse.ru. An application includes a registration form, a motivation letter and description of current research (1200 words) with a short abstract (200 words). More details about RSSIA and application procedure may be found:
