Winter school “Diversity and Social Interactions” will be held in Moscow from 9 till 13 of December 2013. Deadline October 30, 2013.
The school is organized by NES Center for the Study of Diversity and Social Interactions.
The guest speakers of the school are Matthew O. Jackson from Stanford University and Eyal Winter from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
The lecturers of the school are the Academic Head of the NES CSDSI Professor Shlomo Weber and NES professors Efthymios Athanasiou, Paul Dower, Gunes Gokmen, Sergei Izmalkov, Andrey Markevich, and Alexei Savvateev.
The topics of the winter school lectures are:
Social interactions

• Experimental studies on social interactions;
• Informal insurance, credit markets and social networks in developing countries;
• Emerging patterns of communication in bilingual societies;
Diversity
• Challenges of linguistic diversity;
• Geographic diversity: Analysis of location equilibrium;
